Annual More Than Pink Walk Only Two Weeks Away!

Are you ready? Our annual “More Than Pink” Walk® is just around the corner!

Taking place Oct. 13 at 8:45 a.m., our goal this year is to fundraiser $1 million toward our vision: a world without breast cancer.

What does this money fund?

Money raised from our More Than Pink Walk funds better detection, prevention and treatments for all breast cancers, especially metastatic breast cancer. This money also helps increase access to and participation in innovation clinical trials, which are vital to research programs looking to a find a cure for metastatic breast cancer.

We are proud to also provide access to quality breast health services to women and men in need by funding patient navigators. We use these resources to provide underserved patients with low- or no-cost screenings, diagnosis and treatment options. This may mean providing transportation to and from appointments and treatment, access to medication and even childcare.

We strive to continually fight the disparities in breast cancer care and outcomes by addressing gaps in access and quality. We also offer volunteer opportunities to individuals and communities who want to get involved in breast cancer advocacy and change. We also work to provide individuals and communities with scientifically accurate information, support and compassion through our Komen Breast Care Helpline.

Advocating for research funding and access to affordable, high-quality breast health and cancer care services is so important to Susan G. Komen. Action means providing public and elected officials with accurate, widely accepted breast cancer information. Action also means gathering survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer together with their communities to honor, support and celebrate life.
