“Our grantees are on the vanguard of breast cancer care and we are proud of the bearing they have on our community,” said Kim Heard, Komen® Miami/Ft. Lauderdale Board of Directors President. “As a breast cancer survivor myself, I know the importance of ensuring that the women in our community will receive critical breast health care and support. I wouldn’t be able to do the work I do if it weren’t for our grantees. I am proud to support the impact our grantees make each and every day.”
